Social media is very important to succeed in life. This site helps us to create a new horizon of social networking as well as creating opportunity of sharing with others. It is a very nice process.

Is the MGF freestyle still available and are there better/more illustrations and information available? I am looking to buy in mid February, after clocking up yet another birthday. I have owned an MGF and a MGTF before and want a repeat prescription!
Regards and Seasonal greetings,
Richard

Hi Russel,
interesting thoughts on SNR. I agree with your points.

SNR theory is last millenium marketing stuff, made before the social web took place. For me these theories are the last attempt to create a feeling of control about something that can't be controlled. Especially in marketing termns.

I believe marketers won't see that all these opportunities of the social web have a price: Advertizing, Brands, Products, etc take place within the social web while before they have been positioned above humans.

Measure of SNR is only needed for the "external view" of classic marketing. Within the community it's pretty easy to discover how your brands or product signal are recieved by others.

Sorry for David, Seth and all the others.

Delivering large items is actually quite difficult, with a limited number of couriers and even the best of them having only a 96% success rate of Next Day Deliveries.

Whilst it is true that accurate stock info and proper training for staff is critical, we also have an issue with the other 4%.

If we promise next day, then we know that 4 out of 100 orders are going to go wrong and we get angry customers. Our solution so far is to promise 2-3 days then deliver the 96% next day, keeping 96% very happy.

But the problem with that is we have customers waiting in too, and thats not right after.

The logistics of e-commerce are quite a problem still. Have a solution to that one for me? thanks.

Russell - I was talking about calendars here recently, http://www.headshift.com/au/2011/07/15/making-calendars-collaborative/ although I didn't consider Google in that mix. One of the features I particularly like is the way it works so well with Gmail when you receive a meeting invite. Lots to learn from that, if it could be applied to different contexts.
